೨೦೧೧-೧೨ ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ವಿಷಯ ವೇದಿಕೆ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಗಣಿತ,ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಷಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ವೇದಿಕೆ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಭಾಷಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ವೇದಿಕೆ,ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಸಹ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ವಿಷಯ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶ Edubuntu 12.04 ನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಡಯಟ್ ಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ 05 ದಿನಗಳ ಸನಿವಾಸ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಲ್ಲ.ತರಬೇತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುವುದು ಮುಖ್ಯ.
